AUSTRALIAN BEER PONG LEAGUE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

t & c's

Please read the Australian Beer Pong League Terms & Conditions before partaking in any tournament. By participating in the tournament you agree to these terms and conditions.

1. participation

a) Australian Beer Pong League (ABN 50 605 940 314) (ABPL) administers the Australian Titles competitions.

b) Ocean 6019, 1 Manning St, Scarborough, WA is the establishment where competitions will take place. 

 

c) Participants of the ABPL competition must be over the age of 18. ABPL may ask you at any time to provide valid identification to prove your eligibility to participate in ABPL competitions.

 

 d) To apply to compete in ABPL you must fully complete and sign the ABPL registration forms and waivers. By signing the ABPL registration form you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound the terms and conditions, ABPL rules and code of conduct.  ABPL may from time to time amend these terms and conditions. (A current copy of the terms and conditions will be displayed at www.abpleague.com.au) ABPL or the establishment have the right to refuse any competition registration, or for the player to participate at their sole discretion. 

 

e) Only one registration per a team of 2 is permitted. 

 

f) As a ABPL competitor you can at any time elect to cancel your registration. A request to withdraw from the contest can be sent to info@abpleague.com.au

2. use of   information

a) All information accumulated by ABPL is for the use of ABPL and Oceans 6019 only. ABPL undertakes not to sell member information to any other person or organization that is unrelated to ABPL or Oceans 6019. 

3. competition

a) Any member of ABPL that participates in any ABPL competition agrees to abide by the ABPL member rules and code of conduct. 

4. liability

a) ABPL accepts no liability whatsoever. All participants agree to sign and abide by the competition agreement prior to playing in any tournament run by ABPL. ABPL is not liable for any injury, loss or damage incurred to or by the competition participants.

 

b) All members agree that ABPL will store in hard copy and digital form, an agreement between the participant and ABPL. By becoming a member and signing the legal waiver, you are waiving your rights to sue both ABPL or any of the executives of the company.

 

c) By agreeing to these ABPL terms and conditions, participants confirm that they have no pre-existing conditions that could be aggravated by participating in the competition.

5. prize

​a) Participants must meet all competition criteria and rules to be eligible to receive the prize, should they win. Participants are responsible for any taxes or additional costs associated with accepting the prize.

6. media release

a) By participating in the competition, you agree to allow photos and videos of you taken during the event to be published for the promotion of Oceans 6019 and ABPL. These materials may be used in various media formats including social media, websites, and promotional materials.

7. alcohol consumption and responsibility

a) Participants are reminded to drink responsibly. Excessive alcohol consumption is discouraged, and the ABPL reserves the right to disqualify any participant deemed to be excessively intoxicated or behaving inappropriately.

 

b) The establishment and ABPL have the right to refuse service of alcohol to any participant in accordance with responsible service of alcohol laws.

8. code of conduct

a) Participants must behave respectfully towards other players, officials, and patrons at all times. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification and expulsion from the competition.

 

b) Participants agree to follow all instructions and guidelines provided by the event organizers and officials.

9. health & safety

a) Participants should inform the event organizers of any medical conditions or allergies prior to the competition.

 

b) First aid and emergency medical assistance will be available at the venue. Participants agree to seek medical attention if needed and notify organizers of any health issues arising during the event.

c) By agreeing to these ABPL terms and conditions, participants confirm that they have no pre-existing conditions that could be aggravated by participating in the competition.

10. intellectual property

a) ABPL accepts no liability whatsoever. All participants agree to sign and abide by the competition agreement prior to playing in any tournament run by ABPL. ABPL is not liable for any injury, loss or damage incurred to or by the competition participants.

 

b) All intellectual property rights in relation to the event, including but not limited to logos, branding, and promotional materials, remain the property of ABPL. Participants agree not to use any of these materials without prior written consent from ABPL.
 

11. governing law

a) These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

12. amendments

a) ABPL reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any amendments will be posted on the ABPL website and it is the responsibility of participants to review the terms and conditions regularly.

13. force majeure

a) ABPL shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, pandemics, fire, flood, strikes, and other events of force majeure.
